Mid City Caffé

I wish this were a wee bit closer to where I live, but still good news — Mid City Caffé is opening on June 14 at 1626 14th St., NW.

Look for coffee from Counter Culture Coffee (made in a French press) and pastries like
sweet potato spice cake with cream cheese frosting, lime chiffon cake and bagels.

There will also be an outdoor patio.

Mid City Caffé will be open Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m.- 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.- 6 p.m.
