Seven Deadly Sins dinner at Nage

In case you aren't attending my New Year's Eve party (and why wouldn't you be?) you should go celebrate at Nage and indulge in their Seven Deadly Sins Menu. I'm all for rounding out 2008 with a little sin.

The Seven Courses

Lust — Any intense desire or craving for self gratification
3 Oysters with a Yuzu Mignonette

Gluttony — The act or practice of eating & drinking to excess
Foie Gras Torchon with Hazelnuts and Huckleberry Compote

Greed — An overwhelming desire to have more of something
Truffled Lobster Mac n’ Cheese and Shaved Oregon Truffles

Wrath — A vengeance, punishment or anger wreaked in anger
Shark with Spicy Harissa Glaze, Black Lentil Cake and Fried Chives

Sloth — A dislike of work or any kind of physical exertion
Pork Belly with Lemon Parsnip Puree

Envy — Wanting what someone else has
Seared Venison, Maple Sweet Potato and Lingonberry Demi-Glace

Pride — A strong sense of self-respect and joy in ones achievements
7 Chocolate 7 Layer Cake
