Chinese New Year Dinner at Zentan

If you're looking to celebrate Chinese New Year with delicious dishes, head to Zentan, where you can get a four-course prix-fixe dinner through February 28. I was lucky enough to taste the dishes the other night, and loved the Spicy Thai-ger cocktail, with Thai chili-infused vodka, sake, elderflower liqueur and cranberry, garnished with candied ginger.

Kick off the four courses with vegetable dumplings or a light melon and ham soup. The second course is Zentan's tasty Singapore slaw, and for the main course choose from crispy garlic chicken, barbecue pork and whole fried red snapper, and finish with green tea creme brulee, sweet sticky rice cake, or star anise pomelo granita. The prix-fixe costs $47.08.

This was my first trip to Zentan, and besides the delicious Chinese New Year dishes, the sushi we started with was great - especially the spicy lobster and calamari sushi rolls.
