Grapes with the Apes

Mark your calendars for April 16, and Grapes with the Apes at the National Zoo.

I went last year, and it was a really nice event with samples from lots of wineries, live music and evening walks through the Great Ape House — where there's the new baby gorilla (left) to ogle. It's from 6-9 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for zoo members and $40 for non-members and it includes all wine samples, entertainment and a commemorative glass.
