Sunday's Inaugural Concert

The Lincoln Memorial and Reflecting Pool. The red screens were broadcasting the concert.

The Washington Monument and the crowds.

I wasn't close enough to take good photos of the stage, so here's screen.

The White House as everyone left the mall.

The crowds on the way out.

The concert was great fun, and I'm glad I didn't flee town as I originally intended. So far the city hasn't been as chaotic as expected, (though I'll reassess that statement after tomorrow's inauguration), and there's an excitement in the air that has been unlike anything else.
