For a gallery opening tomorrow, head to Hemphill Fine Arts for Selections from the Barnett-Aden Collection: A Homecoming Celebration. Jeffrey Stewart, Professor and Chair, Department of Black Studies at University of California, Santa Barbara is the curator of the exhibition, which includes work from Jacob Lawrence, Aaron Douglas, Romare Bearden, and John N. Robinson, (Myself, above) among others.
The show runs January 31 - March 7 and the opening reception is tomorrow from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at 1515 14th Street, NW.
