Artist Talk at the Hirshhorn

Someone should come with me to the talk by British filmmaker Isaac Julien on Thursday. I need to go research for a story I'm writing for next week, on Realisms, the second installment of The Cinema Effect: Illusion, Reality, and the Moving Image.

Julien will discuss his work and career, including Fantôme Créole, a four-screen investigation of character, cinema, and landscape. Free tickets will be distributed at 6:15 p.m. and the talk is at 7 p.m.
