Sample Sale

I made a killing yesterday at the District Sample Sale, picking up a dress, green teardrop earrings, a chocolate pashmina, and a pair of Jack Rogers from Sassanova that I am pretty much smitten with. The blogger bag was also excellent, with a lot of samples from places like One80, and clothes from My Sister's Keeper.

Relatedly, fending my way through the crowds while laden down with bags reminded me how much I enjoy extreme shopping. Extreme shopping includes things like trying to find a bathing suit in the 20 minutes before the mall closes and hitting six stores (I did this once, although I think it was less tricky since it was for a guy's bathing suit). Or 5-hour marathon trips. I think this could easily be a sport.
