This sounds like an adorable event: Handmade Mart, the indie craft fair, and FRESHFARM Markets teamed up to put together a holiday shopping event in downtown Silver Spring on December 5. There will be artisans and crafters selling handmade goods, produce and other items from farmer's market vendors, and a lighted Christmas tree.It will take place along Ellsworth Drive between Georgia Ave. and Fenton Ave., near the Silver Spring Metro. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
