It's about time I started heading over the bridge to Virginia a little more often.
To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Fontaine Caffe & Crêperie, is launching a Parisian Happy Hour on February 3. Running Tuesdays through Thursdays from 5-6:30 p.m., the happy hour will feature cocktails, wine, beer, and most notably, French Cidre Flights, with three French sparkling cidres.
Cidres include the pear and citrus laced Christian Drouin Poire Cidre Normandie and Duponte Bouche Fermi Cidre Nomandie, made with nine different harvests of apples. Pair the bubby and vin with the sweet and savory crêpes for a mini French vacation.
Fontaine is located at 119 S. Royal St. in Alexandria.
