I'm going to be out of town this weekend, as brother and I head south to Texas. While I'm going to be busy eating BBQ and trying to track down boiled peanuts, you should head to the National Gallery for the opening of Pompeii and the Roman Villa: Art and Culture around the Bay of Naples on Sunday.
The galleries are completely transformed, with mosaics on the floor, trees indoors, and the whole exhibit has the feel of a villa. It's a huge show, with tons to see, but totally worth it.
