14th and U Farmer's Market
I finally made it down to the 14th and U St. Farmer's market on Saturday, and all I can say about it is that it's... small. I got some nice things (strawberries, spinach, and an olive bread from Breadline that I think is going to be a weekly purchase), but I was hoping for honey and cheese. Though I am still eating the absolutely fantastic cheese (dill and chive havarti and gouda) that I brought home from Nova Scotia. The Dupont Farmer's Market is supposed to be more substantial, but I haven't been in the city/gotten out of bed before noon on any Sunday since it's been open.
