This still is from Kelly Richardson's Exiles of the Shattered Star, part of the Hirshhorn's The Cinema Effect: Illusion, Reality and The Moving Image, Part 1 Dreams, which opens February 14th. I have a press opening for it on the 13th, and after seeing this still floating around the Internet today, I'm really excited to see this.
The Cinema Effect is a two-part exhibition (Part 2, Realisms, opens in June) focusing on contemporary art's relationship to cinema.
